Tickets

Violations of the rules and regulations shall subject the violator to penalties as follows:

  • All moving violations: $15
    (Excessive speed, riding on pedestrian ways, stop sign violations, wrong way on a one-way street, passing on the right of traffic, etc.)
  • Failure to properly register a bicycle/moped: $5
  • Parked or affixed to handrails, handicap ramps, wheelchair curb cuts, etc.: $50

NOTE: Mopeds, as motor vehicles, are subject to enforcement and penalties provided under the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Code.

Payment:

Penalties are payable at the Parking Office.

Appeals:

If you receive a ticket and feel that the charge is unjust or in error, and you wish to appeal, you must complete a Parking Violation Appeal form (pdf). All appeals must be received in the Parking Office within 20 days of the date of violation.
