Handicapped Parking Spaces – If
you require access to marked handicapped parking spaces,
you must apply for a state-issued handicap parking
placard. Applications are available from the Parking
Office; however, please keep in mind that the Parking
Office is not authorized to issue the placards.
All
handicap parking placards, permanent or temporary,
must be obtained from the state. You can download a
Person with Disability Parking Placard Application
(Form MV-145A) at the
PENNDOT
Web site.
Vehicles parked in handicapped parking spaces must
display both a handicap placard and a Penn State
parking permit.
Mass Transit – We offer a free, campus-wide
mass transit system that is in compliance with the
Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). In most cases,
mass transit services—which include the Campus
Shuttle, the Blue
(campus) Loop, and the Link—will
provide closer access to your destination than available
parking spaces.
