With the Guaranteed Ride Home (GRH) program, we
worry about it—so you don’t have to.
We’ll Get You There – All
RideShare members can participate in the
GRH program for an annual fee of $10 (there
is no charge for full-time Penn State faculty
and staff). If you have an emergency, you
will have a guaranteed ride home (up to 50
miles). You will be provided with a rental
car (if you’re a qualified driver)
or a taxi ride to your destination. We can
also arrange to pick up a child from daycare
or school on the way.
Count on the GRH program in case of:

an illness and/or medical emergency (including riders and/or family members); |

| • |
a workplace shut-down; |
| |
|
| • |
a flood, fire, or natural disaster; |
| |
|
| • |
an emergency that prevents your driver
from giving you a ride; |
| |
|
| • |
a work-related emergency that requires
unscheduled overtime (limited to four
trips per calendar year). |
If you are already a member of a car- or
vanpool, simply register with RideShare and
you can participate in the GRH program.
