Ride for Five

Just think how nice it would be to relax with a good book during your commute—and leave the driving to someone else.

The Ride for Five program lets you do just that—and save money, too.

Giving You Time – With Ride for Five, you can purchase a pass that is valid on all CATA Centre Line bus routes—and which normally costs $49—for only $5 a month. It’s the easy way to add a few extra free minutes to your busy day.

•   To qualify, you must be a full-time employee of the University and either not possess a University parking permit or relinquish current permits to the Parking Office. (Note: Full-time employees who possess an evening and weekend permit do not need to relinquish this permit to participate.)

•   The cost of the pass can be deducted from your paycheck before taxes.

•   You will receive four one-day parking permits per fiscal year at no charge.

For more information, visit the Parking Office in the Eisenhower Parking Deck or call 814-865-1436.

"I absolutely love the Ride for Five program. It's like having a chauffeur take me to and from work each day. I never have to worry about driving in the rush-hour traffic and it gives me time to read or listen to the news on the radio... It also means I'm doing a little something to help reduce the pollution in our environment."
