Director.
Who Can Register:
Any student who has completed at least 28 approved
credits can register for campus parking privileges.
(The 28 credit requirement does not apply to commuters or graduate students.) You can only register vehicles owned by you, or by
a member of your immediate family (mother, father,
brother, sister).
How to Register:
Come to the Parking Office in 1 Eisenhower Parking
Deck. You may also register your vehicle online.
When
to Register: Vehicles must be registered
by the first day of classes each semester or by
the first business day following your arrival on
campus. Permits are sold on a first-come, first-served
basis. Permits are available to pick up at the Parking
Office.
Student Vehicle Registration for Spring 2010:
Resident, Commuter & Long Term Storage Parking:
Beginning Tuesday December 08, 2009 at 8:00 a.m., students who reside on campus or off campus and do not have a current permit; or those that have already registered with a permit valid for the Fall Semester only may register in person at the Parking Office, Room 1 Eisenhower Parking Deck, or by going online. Students registering in person must have their Student ID+ card, and License plate information with them.
Students already registered with a Spring Semester permit, and would like to change their lot assignment must register in person at the Parking Office beginning at 8:00 a.m. December 08, 2009.
To change your lot assignment you must:
1. Bring your current permit, Student ID+ card, and license plate information to the Parking Office.
2. Exchange your current permit for a permit valid for the Fall Semester only in the lot you are currently assigned.
3. Purchase a permit for the Spring Semester in the lot of your choice.
Students are reminded all permits are sold on a first come, first served basis. Lot change accommodations are subject to eligibility and space availability.
Prices: A Spring Semester permit costs the same as a Fall Only permit. (price list can be found on this web site under parking permits)
Permit Distribution: All permits will be available to pick up at the Parking Office beginning Tuesday December 15, 2009.
Absolutely no permits will be mailed to local or home addresses.

Summer 2010 Registration
Resident, Commuter, and Long Term Storage:
All students are eligible to register for Summer Session parking.
Important note: If you wish to purchase a permit for Summer Session II only; DO NOT register for parking prior to June 22, 2010. Please see Summer Session II instructions below:

- Beginning at 8:00 a.m. Tuesday April 27, 2010 students may register online or in person for a Summer Session I parking permit at the Parking Office -- Room 1 Eisenhower Parking Deck.
- Students must bring their Penn State id+ Card and license plate information to the Parking Office to pick up or register for their parking permits.

- Summer session permits will be released from the Parking Office beginning May 3, 2010. Permits not picked up by May 24, 2010 will be cancelled.
- Summer Session II Only --
- Beginning at 8:00 a.m. on June 22, 2010, students may register in person for a Summer Session II parking permit at the Parking Office -- Room 1 Eisenhower Parking Deck. Online registration is not available for Summer Session II.
- Students must bring their Penn State id+ Card and license plate information to the Parking Office to pick up or register for their parking permits.

Student Vehicle Registration for Fall 2009:
If you will be living off campus: There are two on-campus options available. Students commuting to campus may purchase a permit to park their cars in the commuter lots: Lot 44, Stadium West, and Porter North during the day. Commuter permits are not valid from 2:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. in any campus parking lot, seven days a week. The second option is Long-term storage parking in Lot 43. This option would be for students living off campus and unable to acquire parking at their place of residence.
Starting at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday July 21, 2009, you may register for either Commuter parking or Long Term Storage parking online at www.transportation.psu.edu.
If you will be living on campus: Resident student parking consists of six parking options: Lot 22 (for residents of Eastview Terrace), Lot 81 (for residents of South & Pollock Halls), Lot 42 (for residents of Nittany Apartments & Nittany Hall), Lot 82 (for residents of North & East Halls), YWH parking on levels 4 & 5 of the Nittany Deck (for residents of West Halls), Lot B11 (for residents of White Course Apartments), and Lot 83 which is open to all eligible students residing on campus.
Starting at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday July 28, 2009, you may register for Resident student parking online at www.transportation.psu.edu.
